Who operates Tendril

Tendril is operated by its owner under the trading name ileaf. For privacy questions or requests, write to:

What is stored and where

People’s names, permissions, duties, locations, assignments, times, notes, repetitions and preferences, including your chosen logo, are stored locally in your browser’s IndexedDB. The language preference is saved in localStorage.

The current version has no accounts or sign-in, does not send the schedule to a server and does not sync it with other devices. It includes no dedicated analytics, advertising or donation tracking.

Backups, files and shared data

Imports, backups and exports are processed in your browser, without a remote conversion service. Downloaded files and copied text may contain names and other schedule data. You decide whom to share them with and need to protect those copies outside Tendril.

Anyone with access to this browser profile can access the schedule. Only add the information you need to organize duties and avoid unnecessary sensitive information in notes.

Retention and deletion

Data stays in this browser until you delete it or the browser removes it. You can delete records or clear the schedule from Settings → Files; you can also clear site data in your browser settings to remove the schedule and local preferences.

Clearing site data, using private browsing or changing browser, device or domain can leave you without access to the schedule. Download a JSON backup first. Deleting data in Tendril does not delete files you have downloaded or shared.

Hosting and technical logs

Tendril is distributed as a static site through AWS Amplify. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. This is separate from the schedule saved on your device.

This page does not confirm a region or retention period for Tendril’s technical logs. You can ask about this processing using the contact email.

Support and payments

If you choose to support Tendril, the link opens Ko-fi in another tab. Ko-fi and its payment providers, such as Stripe, handle the payment and supporter information. Tendril does not receive or store those payment details and does not connect donations to your schedule.

Privacy requests

To ask about data handling or request access, correction or deletion of information ileaf may hold about you, email helpdesk@ileaf.co.nz. The schedule is stored in your own browser; ileaf cannot access or recover that local copy for you.
